Easyjet has just cancelled over 200 flights due to IT problems that affected the airline. Several authoritative newspapers, such as Sky and Fanpage, reported the news. The flights on Thursday, May 26, were affected, and passengers can receive from 250 euros to 600 euros as financial compensation, as provided for by Community Regulation 261 of 2004.
Naples, Milan, Cagliari and Brindisi are the Italian airports most affected, according to what was analyzed by ItaliaRimborso, but other airports could be added in the next few hours, as stated by Easyjet itself, which recommends checking the reservation before reaching the airport.
In each cancelled Easyjet flight involved, passengers, according to what was analyzed by ItaliaRimborso, can receive 250 euros for flights shorter than 1500 kilometers, while 400 euros for flights longer than 1500 kilometers.
