Naples, agreement with the Campania Region for the redevelopment of the Santagada parks, synergy will return important results to the city
An addendum to the agreement for the “Recovery/redevelopment of Naples municipal parks” program has been signed between the Municipality of Naples and the Campania Region.
The program is part of the memorandum of understanding between the Region and the Municipality for the "Redevelopment of green areas in urban parks, natural areas and historic gardens".
The activities that will be carried out by the operators of the BROS project of the Campania Region consist, for category 1 (Parks and green areas of the Municipalities) in: 1) Horizontal maintenance of greenery; 2) Vertical maintenance of greenery; 3) Cleaning of areas. Specific interventions are also planned for the Villa Comunale which consist of: 1) Horizontal maintenance of greenery; 2) Vertical maintenance of greenery; 3) Maintenance of lawns, cleaning of the kerbs delimiting the flowerbeds, cleaning of tree sources; 4) Cleaning of areas.
"This is an important opportunity for the city to have had the possibility to extend the maintenance and decoration activities to an additional 12 green areas of the city. I thank the Campania Region for the synergy activated through this opportunity that will return important results to the city as a whole". This was declared by the councilor for greenery of the Municipality of Naples, Vincenzo Santagada.
