Salerno. He allegedly forced a thirteen-year-old from Salerno to send him, via the social network Instagram, photos and videos that portrayed him naked. A sixteen-year-old resident of Catania, suspected of sexual violence against the thirteen-year-old, is the recipient of a precautionary order, executed by the postal police, with which the measure of placement in a community was ordered.
According to the reconstruction by the investigators of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Salerno, the violence would have been committed through Instagram. The computer investigations and technical analyses performed on the seized devices allowed the agents of the Salerno section of the postal police to identify the alleged user of the social profile who contacted the young victim to obtain hard images.
The suspect and the victim do not know each other except virtually and, therefore, there is a total absence of 'physical' contact between the two, is explained by the prosecutor who underlines the "significant increase" in sexual criminal episodes committed by minors against their peers via the Internet.
