At the end of the Second World War, Don Salvatore D'Angelo he found himself in front of the ruins of the war. In the streets he saw young people without a home and without parents.
To this situation, the priest of Maddaloni responded promptly with the decision to build the Villaggio dei Ragazzi to give a contribution to the social policy of the State and a pedagogical and pastoral response to the burning youth issue. This wonderful institution today more than ever is projected into the future, continuing to be a point of reference, in the field of education and regional welfare and beyond, for many young people who want to undertake serious studies to better face the challenges of life.
