Campania, school strike on May 30, assembly tomorrow. Joint initiative promoted by trade unions.
The school trade unions in Campania Flc Cgil, CISL Scuola, Uil Scuola, Snals Confsal and Gilda Unams, led respectively by Ottavio De Luca, Rosanna Colonna, Roberta Vannini, Salvatore Margiotta and Antonietta Toraldo have called a joint assembly for tomorrow, Thursday 26 May, which will be held during the first two hours of service in all the institutes in the region to illustrate the platform of struggle at the basis of the national strike scheduled for Monday 30 May.
At the base of the protest "the invasion of the field operated by the Government in matters such as wages and career, which are the exclusive competence of bargaining".
The unions explain that "the Executive, shielding itself with an alleged and unproven indication from the European Union, has intervened in the matter of wages and career by launching a Legislative Decree that introduces incentivized training courses with final evaluation. This is a hypothesis developed outside of any forum for discussion, divisive in the category and as such completely unacceptable".
The objectives of the mobilization are, among others, the removal from Legislative Decree no. 36 of 30 April 2022 of all contractual matters; the immediate continuation of negotiations for the renewal of the contract, which expired three years ago; the expansion of resources for the review and adjustment of ATA profiles; the implementation of resources to allow the equalization of school staff salaries to other state employees with the same qualifications and educational qualifications and the progressive approach to the salaries of European colleagues; the return of the training of all school staff to the sphere of competence of school autonomy and the teaching staff; the review of the current parameters for the allocation of staff to schools for teaching, educational and ATA staff; the implementation of commitments on the reduction of the number of students per class and the containment of the size of school institutions within the limit of nine hundred students per school; the provision of an extraordinary staff of school personnel, to manage emergencies related to the ongoing pandemic and the reception of students from war zones for the 2022-23 school year; the increase in the staff of school collaborators by 2.288 units according to the ministerial commitment; the announcement of the reserved competition for administrative assistants acting as DSGA with three years of service in the role even if they do not have a specific qualification and the issuing of the ordinary competition notice for DSGA.
