The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, during two separate interventions to protect the environment and fight illegal commercial activity, seized a textile factory and a car repair shop in Terzigno, both of which were completely illegal and unknown to the Tax Office.
During the first intervention, the financiers of the Company of Octavian, following a continuous flow of cars and people coming and going, they identified a building inside which they found a car repair business being carried out in a completely irregular manner, set up with all the necessary equipment.
Inside the garage, several machines were seized, 3 tons of waste and 500 litres of waste oil.
Reported to the Judicial Authority, in addition to being administratively sanctioned for violations of the Consolidated Law on environmental matters, the de facto manager of the business, a 54-year-old local man.
During a second intervention, the same Company of Octavian seized a clandestine textile factory, inside which, among other things, three illegal workers were caught.
The entire property was seized, of approximately 200 m2, numerous professional equipment, over 120.000 “neutral” items of clothing (still without a brand), as well as approximately 90.000 accessories (including tags, hangers, buttons) which would have been used to complete and finish the semi-finished products for placing on the market.
Once the lack of the required documentation regarding safety in the workplace was ascertained, the Guardia di Finanza a 47 year old of Chinese origin reported environmental crimes, as well as in matters of workplace safety. Tax investigations are underway.
