“These types of mass shootings rarely happen anywhere else in the world,” “why do we continue to let this happen? Where in God’s name is our backbone to have the courage to stand up to this and stand up to the gun lobby?” “It’s time to turn this pain into action,” “we need to make it clear to every elected official in this country: it’s time to act.
The time has come: to those who hinder, delay, or block common-sense gun laws, we need to let them know that we will not forget. We can do so much more. We must do more.”.
The President of the United States said it, Joe Biden, in an address to the nation after an 18-year-old gunman killed at least 19 children and two adults in a Unvalde Primary School, Texas.
