The commissioner of Napoli has adopted a measure banning access to sporting events (DASPO), for a period of one year, against a Neapolitan fan who, shortly before the Napoli-Milan football match played on 6 March at the “Diego Armando Maradona” stadium, had punched the door of the guest team's bus and then threatened the police officers who intervened.
Furthermore, with reference to the Napoli-Fiorentina match of last April 10, a Daspo, lasting one year, was adopted against a person responsible for climbing from the lower sector of the “A” curve to the upper one.
Again, with reference to the Napoli-Roma match of last April 14, 2 Daspo, also lasting one year, were adopted against as many people who, shortly before the match, had climbed over the boundary wall of the sports facility to illegally access the "Posillipo stand".
Instead, another Daspo, lasting two years, was adopted against a Napoli fan who, shortly before the Napoli-Sassuolo match played on April 30, despite the invitation from the stewards, had refused to wear the individual protection mask and had railed against the officers who intervened.
Two other Daspos, also for two years, were issued: one against a Corallino fan who, during the Turris-Fidelis Andria football match last March 6 at the “Liguori” stadium in Torre del Greco, had lit a smoke bomb inside the “Strino” stand; the other against a person who, at the end of the under 14 category football match played between the Emanuele Troise-Internapoli teams, played last March 5 at the “RP Sport Center” stadium in Castello di Cisterna, after having entered the changing rooms of the sports facility, had verbally and physically attacked the referee.
Finally, another Daspo, lasting two years, was imposed on a person convicted of property crimes.
These measures are also the result of the efforts of the Police Headquarters aimed at ensuring ever greater safety at sports competitions.
