A new partnership between Trenitalia (FS Italiane Group) and Alilauro to purchase the ship ticket together with the train. It is therefore easier to purchase, in addition to the train ticket, also the sea ticket, to complete the journey - in a perspective of efficiency and intermodality - on board a fast ship of the Alilauro fleet to tourist destinations.
You can easily reach Ischia or Positano and Amalfi, improving connections, with a single ticket, to reach the islands of the gulf directly from Venice, Milan or Florence without having to worry about the times of connections. This strengthens the union between Alilauro, a leading company in the maritime connections sector, with over 75 years of experience, and Trenitalia, the main Italian company for the management of passenger rail transport, thanks to a renewed collaboration with the intent to improve the travel experience.
Intermodality is now essential to encourage more and more people to choose collective and shared means of transport for their travel for tourism and leisure, in a vision of greater integration of mobility services also for foreign tourists. The recent creation of the Polo Passeggeri of the FS Italiane Group falls within this perspective, with Trenitalia as the leader, uniting all the companies of the group that deal with passenger transport.

“We continue to make choices in the exclusive interest of user convenience and comfort, convinced that the travel experience must be oriented, today more than ever, towards efficiency and effectiveness, and to do so we have decided to dialogue with a company like Trenitalia, leader in the rail transport sector, imagining ourselves as complementary in services in order to provide an efficient integrated service”, underlines the sole director of Alilauro, Eliseo Cuccaro.
Trenitalia High Speed Business Director Pietro Diamantini recalls how “one of Trenitalia’s missions is precisely that of creating an efficient and immediate intermodal ecosystem, with the aim of making integrated rail transport increasingly eco-sustainable. Never before has it been so important to continue to make an eco-sustainable difference to the entire rail transport sector. The collaboration with Alilauro also allows us to create value for the territory and communities, in particular for the entire tourism sector.”
