Acerra. On Monday afternoon the officers of the Police Station Acerra, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, they intervened in via Clanio in Acerra following the report of a family dispute.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by a man who told them that, shortly before, he had been attacked by his partner's dog.
The woman told the officers that, while she was at home, she had been attacked for trivial reasons with slaps and punches by the man and that her dog, hearing her scream, had interposed between her and the aggressor; furthermore, she told the officers that she had been the victim for some time, for reasons of money, of aggressions and threats by her partner and that she had requested, even on those occasions, the intervention of the police.
The operators, after having ascertained what had happened, identified the man as a 56-year-old from Telese Terme with a police record, and arrested him for mistreatment of the family and extortion.
