Acerra. Illegal kennel and 40 dogs exposed to the elements. 72-year-old reported by the Carabinieri.
The Carabinieri of the Marigliano forestry station, together with personnel from the lipu of Naples and of theAsl Napoli 2 north of Caivano, carried out an inspection in a kennel in the municipality of Acerra.
Within 20 boxes covered with iron sheets and 40 dogs of various breeds all exposed to the elements. The dogs, although in good health, were kidnapped. From investigations carried out by the military, it was documented that the kennel did not have any administrative authorization.
None of the dogs were microchipped. and some were tied to a tree with a chain. The owner of the business, a 72enne already known to the police, was unable to show the documentation relating to the watertightness of a tank full of excrement and that relating to their disposal. Also notified fines of over 11 thousand euros.
