Children and young people together in the name of education for peace and exchange between cultures. This is the goal of the Alveare della Pace, promoted by Gesco with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and in collaboration with the Terre di Posillipo association.
Inaugurated this morning in the gardens of the Denza Institute in Naples in the presence of the Councilor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Naples Luca Trapanese and Father Alex Zanotelli, the initiative includes a series of workshops and recreational activities for children and adolescents and is part of a broader cultural and social project that aims to create a village of culture and peace.
The Peace Beehive involves several associations and cooperatives in the area, including Dedalus, Casba, Assistenza e territorio, Cooperativa Agorà, Cooperativa Era, cooperative Sepofà, the associations Nakotè, Obiettivo Napoli, Casalnuovo coraggiosa, Associazione Peter Pan, Movi, Associazione Tra palco e realtà.
The initiative includes eleven meetings until July 27th from 10 am to 16 pm, including: videomaking activities, reading, creative writing and poetry workshops, recreational, sports and social activities, treasure hunts, seminars on the values of peace, integration and interculturality, group games and aikido activities, active youth citizenship workshops.
Guided visits to the Botanical Park, the Library and the Historical Art Gallery, the scientific laboratories and the Archaeological Museum of Etruscan Civilization “De Feis” inside the Denza Institute are also planned.
