Naples Weather Alert: strong heat wave in Italy and especially in the Center South. And Naples is among the cities reported at high risk of heat.
Tomorrow therefore a red warning with maximum emergency level, in 12 cities issued by the National Civil Protection: Cagliari, Campobasso, Civitavecchia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Napoli, Palermo, Perugia, Reggio Calabria, Rieti and Rome.
This is what was revealed by the heat wave bulletin of the Ministry of Health. On Wednesday the situation worsens and the 'hot' cities increase to 19. Red dot expected in Ancora, Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Campobasso, Catania, Civitavecchia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Messina, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Rome and Viterbo.
None of the cities monitored by the bulletin, 27 in total, will have a green dot until Wednesday included.

Maximum temperatures are expected to be higher than the seasonal average values of 7÷8°C, associated with a humidity rate that, especially in the evening and night hours on the coastal sector, could even exceed 50÷60% and in conditions of poor ventilation.
Particular attention for heart patients, the elderly, children and subjects at risk
The Regional Operations Room, in consideration of the notice issued by the Functional Center of Civil Protection, invites the mayors of all Municipalities and the competent bodies to implement their own procedures relating to the surveillance of the vulnerable sections of the population.
It is recommended not to expose yourself to the sun or practice sports during the hottest hours. Particular attention must be paid to heart patients, the elderly, children and those at risk.
