“Per tutte le volte” is the first single by Amelya, a twenty-three-year-old singer from Caserta who debuts on Friday, June 24 on the Reginella Records label with a song that is already a female manifesto. Feminine, not feminist, because what prevails in her intense civic story with melodic pop-rock tones is a dose of humanity, even before gender or political identity.
The song – composed by Amelya and Ciro Manna both in the verses and in the sound mood – invites us to rise again and react in situations of so-called gaslighting. That is, those phenomena of blackmail, dangers and psychological abuse to which women are often subjected by men: boyfriends, husbands, fathers, lovers, sons.
Of course, the opposite can also happen, and yet the daily news often 'offers' us a case study in this sense. Emotional abuse - not least, the story in the Monza area that saw a woman named Claudia as a victim - is a constant risk and it is particularly significant that it is precisely a very young singer from the South who recorded a song on the subject. Because the distortions of love and the traps of courtship can become a spiritual addiction.

"I hope that through my music, words and dance we can shed light on these cruel phenomena. – says Amelya – and I am aware that a song can play a decisive role in understanding unhealthy relationships. Often a refrain is the most immediate and effective means of communication even for my peers. It can be even more so for those older women who have stumbled into unbalanced relationships and still bear the scars".
The right person, the person who really loves you, “It doesn't suffocate you or take your breath away – Amelya reiterates – rather, it transparently supports your growth. No woman in the world should feel alone because we women are around to protect us".
