Avellino. A man on the phone introduced himself as the sporting director of Avellino Calcio and tried to hire players who could be part of the black and green team playing in the Lega Pro championship.
The content of the phone calls was however reported to the truth, the lawyer Vincenzo De Vito, by someone suspicious who wanted to seek confirmation of the offers received. And this morning the sports director of Us Avellino decided to file a complaint through the Digos of the Irpinia police headquarters.
In the complaint forwarded to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Avellino, De Vito reported the incident asking to investigate for impersonation and attempted fraud. According to what was reported by the players contacted by the sports director, the self-styled sports director intended to sign contracts for the purchase and sale of athletes.
