Avellino, cosmetic products seized that are not compliant for sale and harmful to health.
As part of targeted services set up by the Provincial Command of Avellino to combat commercial abuse and compliance with the sale of products, the military of the Group of the Irpinia capital proceeded to check two sales points of a well-known commercial chain, located in Mercogliano and Atripalda, finding, on display to customers, approximately 4.000 cosmetic products of various types, without labels reporting the characteristics and composition of the product, contrary to what is required by the current legislation referred to in EU Regulation 1223/2009.
The managers of the respective sales outlets were reported to the competent local authorities and were subject to the expected pecuniary sanction, ranging from €500 to €4.000,00.
The activity carried out demonstrates the action exercised by the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Avellino in the prevention and contrast of the sale of products potentially harmful to the health and public safety of consumers.
