Benevento. The first section of the Court of Appeal of Naples, accepting the thesis of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, has acquitted Vincenzina Taddeo, 53 years old, wife of the boss Pompeo Masone, of Benevento, already known to the news due to the criminal record with which she is burdened, for the crime of carrying and illegal possession of a weapon, consisting of a 30-centimetre long switchblade.
In particular, Taddeo was accused of carrying and illegally possessing a weapon because, during an argument with her brother-in-law and sister, in front of a bar in Benevento on 06 April 2016, she attempted to use the knife to attack her brother-in-law and sister.
The Court of Benevento had found Taddeo guilty of the crime she was accused of and had sentenced her. The Court of Appeal of Naples, however, accepting the arguments of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, overturned everything and acquitted Taddeo.
