Tking debuts for the twelfth day of the fifteenth edition of the Campania Teatro Festival, directed by Ruggero Cappuccio and created with the strong support of the Campania Region, curated by the Campania dei Festival Foundation.
The review confirms itself as an authentic preview of future events in the theatrical panorama and, with an increasingly broad scope, broadens its horizons beyond the national reality.
The International section opens with an Italian premiere: Lunch in the air with Daniel Auteuil, on stage at the Teatro Mercadante at 21 pm. Poetry and music meet in a show with an intimate flavour, where the actor immerses himself in the verses of Paul-Jean Toulet, a poet from the early twentieth century, and combines them with works by other great authors of French literature including Apollinaire and Rimbaud.
Julien Noel on piano and Arman Mélies on guitar will accompany Auteuil on a musical journey constructed by the actor himself. With the lightness of a dream, the same that inspired him, Auteuil in Dejeuner en l'air meets himself, the great poets and the spectator: a déjeuner, a convivial breakfast in the rarefaction of the air.
The show was born from a fortuitous discovery: due to an accidental fall, the collection of poems by Toulet, owned by Auteil, opened on the page where the mother had left a dedication to her Dany. Melodies and chords soon accompanied the reading of the verses.
The Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte will propose a great classic. In the Courtyard of the Royal Palace, at 21 pm, Felice Sciosciammocca and his nephew Ciccillo will be on stage in The doctor of the madmen by Eduardo Scarpetta, world premiere directed by Claudio di Palma.
With Giovanni Allocca, Chiara Baffi, Angela De Matteo, Massimo De Matteo, Renato de Simone, Antonio Elia, Valentina Martiniello, Peppe Miale, Alfonso Postiglione and Federico Siano. The production is by Ente Teatro Cronaca Vesuvioteatro in co-production with Tradizione e turismo – Teatro Sannazaro.
For the Special Projects section, an absolute first also for Talk Shoo (Teatro Nuovo, 19:XNUMX p.m.), a theatrical action in two scenes by Ettore De Lorenzo, who also signs the direction, and Marco Alifuoco. On stage, Massimo Andrei, De Lorenzo himself and the Coffee Brecht company.
The curtain opens on a real talk show that will have a special guest: Gaetano Filangieri. The Enlightenment philosopher, however, will have the arduous task of bringing back some reasonableness in a world that seems to be in the grip of madness. A critique of the degeneration of the information system, now such a whirlwind flow that it prevents reflection and comparison on objective data.
The Campania Teatro Festival's daytime activities continue. New Yogacanto® lesson at 17 pm at the Teatrino del Belvedere/Pagliarone di Capodimonte (for a maximum of 20 participants). Roberta Rossi's project investigates the artistic potential of the voice through a path guided by the symbolism of Kundalini Yoga, with deep work on the energy centers (Chakras) and their influence on vocal action. Particular attention will be paid to the balance between Body, Emotion, Technique and Expressiveness.
Guided bike tours will lead visitors to discover the Royal Wood of Capodimonte. The meeting point is at the Belvedere (Porta Grande) at 18 pm for a maximum of 12 participants.
