Environmental checks by the Carabinieri in the province north of Naples. The commitment on the territory has been intensified after the serious fires in Caivano and Acerra. The military personnel of the Casoria company, together with those of the Marigliano forestry carabinieri station, have reported the owner of a company that scraps vehicles and resells used spare parts.
The inspection revealed that waste was stored beyond the authorized limits and that the wastewater discharge system was being operated irregularly. The tractor unit of a stolen truck was found in the area.

Static and dynamic checkpoints have been set up along the roads bordering other industrial activities in Afragola and Casoria to verify the correct management of waste. Two improvised landfills in Via Arcangelo Astone and Via Mameli, in the municipality of Casoria, have been reported to the competent authorities.
Material easy prey to the flames was stored on the street, a few meters from brushwood, trees and homes. Investigations are underway to verify who abandoned waste, including bulky waste.
Among them, even a refrigerator and a sofa. High attention also around the Roma camp of Arzano, in via circumvallazione ovest. The checks will continue in the coming days.
