Castellammare. Yesterday evening, officers from the Castellammare di Stabia Police Station and local police personnel, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Castellammare, in particular in Corso Garibaldi, near the municipal villa, in Piazza Principe Umberto and Piazza Giovanni XXIII.
During the operation, 102 people were identified, 26 of whom had previous police records, 53 vehicles were checked and 9 violations of the Highway Code were reported for failure to use lenses or certain devices while driving, failure to have periodic inspections and failure to stop at a checkpoint.
