“I ask the Italian State for help, we are trying in every way to return home: we are on our honeymoon in Madagascar, at the Andilana Resort. My daughter Aurora is sick, she has gastroenteritis and is completely dehydrated”.
This is the dramatic appeal launched in a video by Alessandra Falaschini, on her honeymoon with her husband Luca Socionovo on the island in the Indian Ocean. The couple, originally from the Marche region, are asking for intervention to ensure adequate care for their 3-year-old daughter.
“We took her to the hospital,” the woman says, “but they weren’t able to get an IV and they asked me if I wanted to give her Valium but I said no. It seems like a surreal situation but it’s reality, we’re calling the police station, consulate and embassy.
We ask for help, we would like someone to come and pick us up with a private plane even for a fee so that we can transfer my daughter for treatment. In these conditions until Wednesday, the date of the flight, we cannot get there. I never thought I would make this video but I ask you to share it so that it reaches as many channels as possible”.
