Covid in Campania, infections reach almost 30%

The Covid contagion in Campania is advancing without brakes, thanks to the lack of controls, especially on those infected.

And for this reason the positivity rate in Campania has jumped to almost 30 percent.

There are 5.810 new cases of contagion registered in Campania in the last 24 hours. This was reported by the Campania Region crisis unit. Of the new positives, 5.409 are from antigen, 401 from molecular.

In total i processed swabs there were 19.701 of which 16.270 antigenic, 3.431 molecular. For this reason the positivity rate reaches 29,49% while yesterday the figure was 27,2%.

I deaths there are 8 of which 1 in the last 48 hours, 7 previously, but recorded yesterday. The occupied intensive care beds are stable: there are 21 (571 the total available); while 338 (-4) hospital beds employed (3.160 total available).
