'Canestrato Bread Festival' in San Nicola la Strada with Peppe Iodice, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July.
The 2022th edition of the 'Festa del Pane Canestrato' will be held next weekend in San Nicola La Strada, an event included in the project 'Festa di Sant'Antonio Abate 2014 edition', an intervention co-financed by the POC Campania 2020-XNUMX, 'Urban Regeneration, Tourism and Culture Policies', a unitary program of cultural, naturalistic and food and wine tourist itineraries of national and international scope, which also involved the municipalities of Macerata Campania (lead body), Maddaloni, Recale and Castel Morrone.
On the evening of Saturday 2 July it will be possible to taste the city's typical product at the stands set up at Villa Santa Maria delle Grazie while at the Arena Comunale Ferdinando II the actress Piera Russo will perform in the show 'Respiro Piano', a text presented at the 2019 edition of the Napoli Teatro Festival and a finalist at the Roma Fringe Festival 2022.
On Sunday 3 July at Largo Rotonda there will once again be the opportunity to taste the canestrato bread and watch the cabaret show by the Neapolitan artist Peppe Iodice, a well-known face from Made in Sud, Zelig and Colorado Cafe and the popular music of 'I Bottari di Macerata Campania'.
