The Youth of the World Tourism Forum at Punta Campanella: 130 delegates hosted at the summit.
130 delegates of the summit hosted in Sorrento will visit the Marine Protected Area. President Cacace: “Proud to host them. Green tourism and environmental education are the future for our territory”.
130 young people from all continents will visit the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area. They are the delegates of the Global Youth Tourism Summit (GYTS) that is taking place these days in Sorrento.

The event, promoted by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) - a body of the UN - in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the National Tourism Agency (ENIT), features young people between the ages of 12 and 18 from 60 countries around the world, and aims to discuss the issues of tourism and sustainability, with an eye to a more aware and environmentally friendly future.
Saturday 2 July the visit to the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area that for years has been experimenting and promoting green tourism, which can reconcile protection with the enjoyment of a site rich in biodiversity and naturalistic beauties to be preserved. Accompanied by the Marine Park guides, the young people will be able to admire the wonders of the marine area with sea-watching activities. The initiative sees the direct involvement of the MSC Foundation, the Municipality of Sorrento and Marevivo.
