The announcement was made via the Gardaland website, a few hours before the 'White Night' with which the summer season opens a few days early today at the Castelnuovo del Garda resort (Verona). An evening that will last until 23:00 am, with DJ sets and musical concerts, and will then continue tomorrow with the gates opening from the morning until XNUMX:XNUMX pm.

But just today, via the internet, the announcement that some of the attractions will have to close early, at 20.00:19.00 pm during the 'White Night', and at 4:XNUMX pm afterwards. A "leopard-spot" closure, which includes both some rides for the little ones and some attractions for the older ones: these are Jungle Rapids, Magic House, Superbaby, Funny Express, Flying Island, Baby cavalli, Peter Pan, Cinema XNUMXD Experience, Space Vertigo, Colorado Boat, Kung fu Panda Master, Albero di Prezzemolo, Baby Canoe.

To the critical comments of customers, Gardaland's social managers responded with a uniform message: "We are extremely sorry for the disappointment caused by this situation, which is temporary and which we hope to resolve as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are forced to reduce the opening hours of some of our activities due to external events beyond our control, such as the severe shortage of seasonal workers that the tourism sector is experiencing.

As previously mentioned, this is a temporary situation that we expect to resolve very soon,” the message concludes. The resort’s CEO, Sabrina De Carvalho, also spoke out on the matter today: “We are continuing to hire and activating all the tools to integrate the staff that is still missing.

As we proceed with the recruitment and reach the necessary number of employees, we will progressively open the closed attractions to allow our visitors to enjoy their days at the Park to the fullest”. “During the daytime hours – De Carvalho specifies – all the attractions of the Park have always been and continue to remain open.

With the extension of the Park's opening hours until 23pm, only some of the Park's attractions will be temporarily closed after 19pm due to the difficulties that Gardaland, like the entire tourism sector, is encountering in finding staff to hire for the summer season”
