Gigi D'Alessio celebrates 30 years of career in Naples with live broadcast on RaiUno VIDEO

Gigi D'Alessio concert in Naples. An event, or rather a huge party, to celebrate his thirty-year career: this is the concept behind the concert that Gigi D'Alessio will hold in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples on Friday, June 17, which sold out in minutes and was broadcast live on RaiUno and Radio2 as well as RaiPlay and RaiDigital.

Three hours or more of live music will be repeated on Saturday the 18th and will be used to make a documentary film.I wanted to do an important show in my city because Naples for me is 'mammà', I was born here and - D'Alessio said at a press conference in Naples - Because here, the people have always defended me from everything and everyone. Here, they were the first to believe in me. The alternative was to celebrate at the stadium, but I wanted to do it in the square. The evening, which will be broadcast live on television, will be full of guests: "I called friends and colleagues and they immediately said yes. - the singer revealed - It will be a chance for everyone to start over. The whole world will see us, and the whole world will see the beauty of Naples.".

Taking turns on stage will be Fiorello, Amadeus, Eros Ramazzotti, Fiorella Mannoia, Vincenzo Salemme, Clementino, Mara Venier, Alessandra Amoroso, Vanessa Incontrada, Achille Lauro, Alessandro Siani, Maurizio Casagrande, Andrea Delogu, Stefano De Martino and many other artists including LDA, D'Alessio's son Luca.

There will be many tributes, from those to Totò to Maradona, to Lucio Dalla, to Renato Carosone, to Pino Daniele, to Mario Merola. And the concert will also be an opportunity for Gigi D'Alessio to play and sing at the San Carlo theatre in Naples with an orchestra of 32 women only: "It's a dream come true. I'll perform 'Non dirgli mai,' the song I sang at Sanremo and which opened the doors to the world for me.".

The event will involve 3.900 workers and will generate significant revenue, with 1.400 hotel beds booked and bars and restaurants occupied.

"I hope I have been the guinea pig because whoever comes after me to do concerts will be able to find a simpler organization because we must enhance our beauties, give value to what we have", explained D'Alessio, recalling that the concert will also be an opportunity to raise funds to be allocated to the Santobono-Pausilipon Foundation of Naples to help Ukrainian children suffering from serious illnesses.
