La Capria: Rai Cultura's tribute. New programming on Rai5 and Rai Storia.
The great writer of “Ferito a morte”, the passionate narrator and translator, the screenwriter of films such as “Le mani sulla città”, the Neapolitan in love with his city, but against the clichés of “Neapolitanness”: it is a varied portrait that Rai Cultura offers – changing the programming on Rai 5 and Rai Storia – to pay homage to Raffaele La Capria, who has just passed away. On Rai 5, in particular, “Scrittori per un anno: Raffaele La Capria” by Isabella Donfrancesco – on air Tuesday 28 June at 17.50:21.15 pm, after a first broadcast today, at XNUMX:XNUMX pm – is a journey into the literary and other production of La Capria, including fiction, essays, contributions to great cinema, and authorial translations.
Always accompanied by clear and elegant writing, with a style that is only apparently “easy” and capable of illuminating the transition between the twentieth century and the 2000s with rare awareness.
Following this, again on Rai 5, the documentary “In Scena. Ilaria Occhini” will be broadcast, produced by Rai Cultura and directed by Francesco D'Arma and directed by Monica Ghezzi: a portrait of the great Tuscan actress, wife of the late writer.
