Laceno d'oro International Film Festival: competition announcements online

The Laceno d'oro International Film Festival, the historic film festival of Avellino, has published the competition notices and announces the dates of the 47th edition, from 1 to 8 December 2022.

Registration for the contest is available on the international platform www.filmfreeway.com with a deadline of September 12, 2022. There are three competitive sections: the international competitions “Laceno d'oro 47”, reserved for feature films of fiction or 'cinema of the real' and documentaries, “Gli occhi sulla città”, dedicated to short films on the themes of urban spaces, the environment and the landscape, interpreted with maximum freedom, and “Spazio Campania”, a competition reserved for works by authors from Campania and produced in the Campania Region, without constraints on duration and genre.

The works of the three categories will be chosen by technical juries composed of artists and professionals in the sector. Two other prizes will be awarded by the public attending the festival: Best film “Laceno d'Oro 47” and “Spazio Campania”. The festival will donate an art object by a Campanian author to the winners voted by the public.

The prizes: the winning works will be awarded a prize of Euro 3000 for feature films, Euro 1500 for short films and Euro 1000 for best documentary. Double prize for “Spazio Campania”: Euro 500 for Best Film and Best Unreleased.

The Laceno d'oro International Film Festival is organized by the Circolo ImmaginAzione of Avellino, chaired by Antonio Spagnuolo, artistic direction by Maria Vittoria Pellecchia in collaboration with Aldo Spiniello, Sergio Sozzo and Leonardo Lardieri.
