“Radici” (Maninalto!), the debut single by the Venetian band Lapolveriera, produced by Omar Pedrini, is out today, Friday 24 June, on the radio, on digital platforms and in all digital stores.
The song represents the genesis of the band, a programmatic manifesto that originates from a story that ended in the worst possible way, but leaves room for music as a means of expression that unites the group. The warm and classic sounds given by the light valve distortions and the use of the Hammond organ - suggested by the artistic production of Omar Pedrini - are inspired by vintage and intimate atmospheres.
The watchword is: write by telling and tell by writing, touching on uncomfortable, explosive topics, without pity or cliché. From the beginning, the urgency to play their own music leads the members of the group to write together pieces that touch intimate chords of everyday life: what comes out is a band with a very young average age but with a mature and profound sensitivity.
The videoclip was made by Luca Faccini (Unity Media) and produced by Lapolveriera. The filming took place in some historic locations in Verona and in the woods of the Lessinia Natural Park.
