Maddaloni. It will be the site of the former Cementir quarry of Maddaloni, now owned by Colacem SpA, of the Colaiacovo family, to welcome 'Ludo & Felix', the new theme park, with a dual soul, playful and cultural. Negotiations have in fact begun for the acquisition of 140 hectares of the area, which will make 'Ludo & Felix' the first park in terms of surface area in Europe.
Work is underway, a note announces, on the commercial agreement, not yet concluded, which will include an investment of approximately 40 million euros, from which the costs of remediation and disposal will be deducted. By early August the sale will be definitively concluded and the compromise with Colacem will be signed.
This is a large tourist hub, which will include entertainment, culture and shopping and which will be built thanks to an estimated total budget of 500 million euros. By July 15, Ludo SpA, the company that owns the park, will be established, which will work alongside Felix Srl, a service company, which will also handle the sale and rental of commercial spaces. The company shares of Ludo SpA will be allocated 40% to popular shareholder, with the issue of 200 thousand shares of 1.000 euros each, which will give the right to the status of member of the park and to a whole series of privileges that will result. Each member will also be allocated an NFT (non-fungible token), a digital file that has the peculiar characteristic of being unique, non-replicable and certified.

In the meantime, the collection of CVs for the staff that will be hired in the park continues, an estimated 3000 employees at full capacity. About 14 CVs have already arrived for all the roles and sectors of employment within the structure. The selection process will begin on June 30, the deadline for sending applications. All candidates who meet the required requirements will have the right to be examined. After the first selection, Master e Formazione srl will take care of the mandatory and preparatory training courses for all employees.
With the desire to revalue the area of the Caserta province and redevelop the territory by actively involving the population, the Company has decided to give a further environmental and social footprint, launching a call to action to the local community. All citizens are in fact called to donate a plant, which will serve to embellish and make the structure even more “green” and which will subsequently be labeled, identifying it with the name of the person who donated it, who will in turn receive an identification plate. The work for the realization of the project will start in September.
From this period onwards, the park area will be open and freely available to citizens, every Saturday and Sunday, and to local religious communities for the performance of some functions and celebrations. From 20 to 22 September, a large event will also be held for the laying of the first stone, in which local and national institutions will participate. During the event, honorary members will be nominated and each of them will be given a share.
