Marco Verratti was robbed of millions in Ibiza, at the villa owned by Ronaldo Nazario, the former Phenomenon. Efe news agency confirmed that the Guardia Civil is investigating the theft of jewelry and cash from the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and his entourage, who were vacationing on the Balearic island.
The dynamics are still being ascertained but the thieves would have entered into action on Sunday while the villa was empty and without forcing the locks, given that there are no signs of forced entry. The loot would amount to three million euros, although there is no official confirmation.
The villa is located in the municipality of Sant Josep, in the Cala Jondal area, and is registered to the former Inter, Real Madrid and Milan striker, current owner of Valladolid, but it is not clear whether he is currently in Ibiza. Verratti is one of the many footballers who have chosen Ibiza for their holidays, like his teammates Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria.
