Naples Weather: It was just a brief respite lasting less than 24 hours. Starting today, the African anticyclone Charon returns, bringing with it intense heat and mugginess.

Going into detail, we will have partly cloudy or hazy skies in the morning and afternoon, good weather in the evening. During today there will be a maximum temperature of 32°C at 14pm, while the minimum at 5am will be 21°C.

Winds will be light in the morning from West-Southwest with intensity between 9 and 4km/h, moderate from West-Southwest in the afternoon with intensity of around 15km/h, light from North-Northwest in the evening with intensity between 5km/h and 10km/h.

The highest solar intensity will be at 13:7.6 with a UV value of 915, corresponding to XNUMXW/mXNUMX. Starting from today, therefore, the heat - meteorologists say - will intensify again throughout the country, particularly in the Center-South where, the beginning of July, is still expected to be hot.

Forecast for Thursday. Mostly sunny weather, except for some cloudiness since the morning in the Alps and pre-Alpine areas. During the afternoon some isolated showers or thunderstorms could affect the Alpine areas, with greater insistence in the north-western ones where the phenomena could continue also in the evening.

Maximum temperatures slightly decreasing in Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, stationary or slightly increasing elsewhere; peaks of 33-35 degrees in the lower Po Valley, 35-38 degrees in the internal areas of the Center-South and locally close to 40 degrees in Sicily. Winds mostly weak, with reinforcements from the east in the Sardinia Channel. Seas mostly slightly rough, except the Sardinia Channel which will remain rough.

Forecast for Friday. A disturbance passing north of the Alps will touch the northern regions causing scattered clouds accompanied by showers and thunderstorms along the Alpine arc, with probable improvement in the western sector already in the afternoon. Local extensions of the phenomena to the pre-Alpine bands are not excluded. In the evening precipitation will decrease.

Sunny day in the Center-South, with local cloudiness on the mountains and some passing haze. During the day some may also affect the lower Po Valley, Liguria and the coasts of the upper Adriatic.

Temperatures stable or slightly increasing, except in the Alps and along the Prealps where they will decrease; possible peaks of 33-34 degrees on the lower Po Valley, 35-38 degrees in the internal areas of the Center-South. Winds mostly weak of a breeze nature, except for reinforcements of Mistral in the Sea of ​​Sardinia which will become rough during the day; calm or slightly rough, however, the remaining basins.
