Naples, redevelopment work has begun on the former gasometer area in Vomero, home to over 1000 native plant specimens.
In the area of the former gasometer between Viale Raffaello and Salita Cacciottoli, in Naples, redevelopment work began today to complete the Vomero agricultural-educational park, with a view to safeguarding and enhancing the over 1000 specimens of native plants present.
“Just this morning – explained Councillor Santagada – the area was returned to us and at the same time the company guaranteed us
or the immediate start of the works with the commitment to complete them by next October 31st. It is a very interesting agricultural reserve within the Vomero. There are many tree species of great naturalistic value. At the heart of our project is precisely the care and improvement of all the existing tree heritage”.
