Napoli. “You have to learn to sell yourself better, you have to learn to behave with entrepreneurs in a completely different way”. The words of entrepreneur Gian Luca Brambilla who addressed Francesca Sebastiani live on “L'Aria che tira” on La7 sparked a real debate during the broadcast aired this morning and then continued on social media.

The 22 year old from Secondigliano, who last week had reported on social media that she had received a job offer for a salary of 280 euros per month, came to national prominence, was a guest on the episode together with the regional councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, to whom some citizens had reported the case.

The girl had a heated exchange with the entrepreneur from the north who had offered to pay for her trip to Milan, but had “scolded” her about her supposedly wrong way of dealing with employers. “Come to Milan, I’ll pay for your trip, but I want to teach you how to relate to people in order to find work”.

Words that shocked the young Neapolitan, who is currently evaluating the job offers that came her way after her complaint on TikTok went viral. “I wanted to make it public,” Francesca explained, “to help other kids or adults who have found themselves in the same situation as me, so that this system changes.”

Meanwhile, next week the Regional Council will hold a hearing with unions and associations within the productive activities commission chaired by Giovanni Mensorio, as announced by Borrelli: "Francesca herself told us that she has received several reports of cases similar to hers, but many are afraid to report them because they rightly feel they are not protected. This is precisely what we will highlight during the hearing, that is, how is it possible that certain reports come from a video on TikTok rather than from targeted interventions by the labor inspectorate?".
