Naples. Officers from the Social Emergency and Minors Protection unit of the Naples Municipal Police intercepted two minors consuming alcohol in Vico dei Carrozzieri in Monteoliveto.
The Municipal Police determined that the minors had purchased the drinks at a bar whose owner was a repeat offender , having already been reported and fined on two separate occasions during the year and having already received a 30-day suspension order pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, issued by the Police Chief following a report from the Municipal Police.
The business owner was again reported for violating Article 689 of the Criminal Code and reported to the Police Headquarters for further action . The minors were released to their parents.
In the Chiaia area on Via S.Lucia, Via Calabritto and Via Cavallerizza, and in the Vomero area on Piazza Leonardo, Via Cilea, Via Luca Giordano and the pedestrian area of Via Scarlatti, the Administrative Police checks carried out resulted in 19 fines for illegal occupation of public land, for playing music without authorization and for failure to separate waste.
The cleanup of Via Merliani also continues, to combat the unauthorized parking of motorcycles in the pedestrian area and the illegal occupation of public land, with the removal of four motorcycles and the issuing of 26 fines for various parking and road traffic violations.
To address the problems encountered in Piazza Garibaldi, three municipal patrols were deployed, ensuring the area was patrolled until midnight, preventing illegal street markets from operating. In terms of Highway Code enforcement, 189 checks were carried out, 172 fines were issued, and 12 seizures and administrative detentions were issued. 33 vehicles were towed away by cranes in key nightlife areas.
Intervention in Piazza Matteotti following Gigi D'Alessio 's concert , where indiscriminately parked cars severely slowed down both the flow of traffic and the nightlife. Thirty-seven fines were issued, and two cars were towed away by cranes.
Police and financial checks in the Decumani area
Meanwhile, yesterday, as part of the operations organized by the Naples Police Headquarters in the city's nightlife districts, officers from the Decumani and Montecalvario Police Stations, finance officers from the Naples Provincial Command, and personnel from the autonomous Local Police service of the City of Naples, with the support of the Bari Mobile Unit and the Crime Prevention Unit, carried out checks in the historic center and the Toledo area.
During the activity, the operators in the historic center and in Borgo Orefici identified 60 people and checked 10 commercial establishments; while, in the Toledo area and in the surrounding streets, 41 people were identified
