The mayor of said this Napoli, Gaetano Manfredi, upon leaving the meeting of the committee for public order and safety held today at the prefecture and which was convened the day after the attack on a patrol of local police officers by a group of migrants.
According to Manfredi, it is necessary to “answer the many requests of the citizens of that area but also of the many tourists who want a safe environment”. For Manfredi, particular attention must also be paid to the surrounding areas, such as Vasto, with interventions “not only related to safety but also to social support”.
