Naples. Traffic has been restored on Corso Umberto, a major artery in the city center that connects Garibaldi square with Bovio square.
The intervention that allowed the removal of the car that, last night, impacted against thescaffolding of a building, severely damaging the structure. The car removal operations were not easy, as some pipes were embedded in the vehicle.
The stretch of road was closed to traffic all day yesterday. Corso Umberto between the intersection of Mezzocannone Street and Nicola Amore Square in both directions of travel, with motorists forced to use alternative routes.
Despite the forecast of closure yesterday morning traffic of the road was 48 hours, the positive conclusion of the intervention to remove the car allowed the regular restoration of traffic already yesterday evening.
