Pozzuoli, electricity theft: 47-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri now awaiting trial.
Carabinieri from the Pozzuoli station and Enel technical personnel detected an abnormal consumption of electricity in a shop on Via degli Imperatori.
According to the findings, the owner had connected the system that lit his business directly to the public grid.
The meter did not record any consumption but the checks documented that approximately 8 thousand euros were missing from the supplier's coffers.
The man, a 47-year-old local, was arrested for theft. He is now awaiting trial.
