Saint George. The activities of the Environmental Guards are already showing the first effects on the territory. From June 25th to today, the inspectors, who received the assignments from Mayor Giorgio Zinno, have implemented an effective prevention activity, but also a repression activity against those who persist in carrying out uncivilized behavior, depositing waste in non-compliant places and at non-compliant times and leaving dog waste from their dogs on the sidewalks.

The first fines were also issued to some residents caught dumping garbage bags in broad daylight in unsuitable places, such as next to glass bell jars.
