Teano. Two people died and two were injured in an accident on the northbound carriageway of the A1 Milan-Naples motorway, on the Caserta section within the municipality of Teano, near the service area.
A Peugeot carrying a family of father, mother and daughter, with the latter driving the vehicle, collided for reasons still being investigated against a tow truck. The impact was very violent, with the car ending up off the road and becoming a pile of sheet metal.

The firefighters had to intervene to extract the occupants; the driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the father and mother died.
The driver of the tow truck was also injured and taken to hospital. From the initial investigations carried out by the Highway Police of Caserta, it appears that the tow truck hit the car but the investigation is still ongoing. The accident has caused traffic delays.
