Othis afternoon at Caivano there was the intervention of the Minister for the South Mara Carfagna, who participated in the institutional roundtable convened to strengthen and reinforce the interventions envisaged by the Institutional Development Contract "From the Land of Fires to the Garden of Europe".
The meeting took place in the church of St. Paul the Apostle at Green Park, parish of Don Maurizio Patriciello, a priest known for his battles against the Camorra and against the dumping and burning of toxic waste in the so-called Land of Fires.
This is the Minister's statement: “To include the video surveillance system in the contract and to strengthen it, the Ministry of the Interior will also sign it through the prefecture of Naples. We are also strengthening the Cis by including some projects that were initially excluded and that we consider worthy of attention.
We will offer all administrators a handbook to help them use this money correctly and in the shortest possible time, because we know your difficulties, we want to do everything to help and assist you". "We want to send a message to citizens: the State is here and will not leave you alone. The best way for citizens to feel the presence of the State is for the State to guarantee their safety.
We have done it by protecting Don Maurizio who is the object of serious and unacceptable intimidation, we are doing it in a more complete way by inserting in the CIS the funding for over one million euros for a modern video surveillance system with a particular look at the Green Park as rightly requested and loudly demanded by Don Maurizio".
