The Municipality of Pagani, in the province of Salerno, is seeking experts for communications strategies, but on a pro bono basis. Fanpage.it reported the news, publishing this incredible story that almost seems provocative. However, it's a fact, especially since it's written down in black and white in the resolution that Fanpage.it itself has seen.
In essence, the Municipality of Pagani would like to avail itself of «din the collaboration of external subjects who declare themselves available to carry out support activities for the mayor and the municipal council» but «absolutely free of charge».
Fanpage explains the matter better: “The law article that substantiates the administrative act is 769 of the Civil Code, the one that regulates "acts of generosity". It may also be generosity, however not everyone will be able to enjoy this high position: the mayor of Pagani will have to sign a contract intuitu personae and draw up a decree to nominate the external subject who will have the pleasure of working for free, "upon acquisition of a curriculum"."
A “proven experience” is also required
In order to collaborate with the Municipality of Pagani, it is also necessary to be an expert in the field «by qualification or proven personal, professional and work experience» and of «provide a contribution of knowledge and experience to the work of the mayor and the council, even limited to specific projects and/or activities". The activities for which people are sought are the «Communication strategies» that is, a request for experts in journalism, institutional and political communication or social media.
