In Ischia the control activity of the Carabinieri of the local station does not stop. The focus of the service is the fight against the phenomenon of illegal rentals and the protection of the tourist-receptive sector of the Island. I militar of the Carabinieri, during the operations, checked 18 apartments in the neighborhoods of “San Pietro”, “Ischia Ponte” and “Cartaromana” and identified 42 residents.
A 66-year-old local man was reported. The man had rented his apartment to tourists without communicating the personal details of the guests to the Public Security Authority.
