Amalfi. The tender notice has been published for the works to adapt the mechanical systems of the Luna Rossa garage in Amalfi. This is a fundamental intervention planned by the Municipal Administration, led by Mayor Daniele Milano, aimed at definitively resolving the identified infrastructural deficiencies in the rock garage and made possible thanks to funding of approximately 3,6 million euros from ACAMIR and the Campania Region.
The timetable provides for the execution of the works – starting from the winter months and with the complete closure of the structure – on the basis of the executive project approved by the Municipality and favorably evaluated, as far as it is concerned, by the Provincial Fire Brigade Command.
Specifically, the interventions envisaged in the contract will concern, among others, the demolition of the existing electrical and ventilation systems, on all four levels, the creation of new types of systems to replace the previous ones, the creation of air intake and extraction circuits, the modification of the fire prevention network.
The tender, published by the “Public Works and State Property” Sector of the Municipality of Amalfi, will expire at 18:00 on 26 August 2022 and will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous offer identified on the basis of the best quality/price ratio and the evaluation elements according to the weightings set out in the Tender Regulations.
Mayor Daniele Milano declares: "With this call for proposals we are proceeding with determination towards the resolution of another long-standing problem inherited from this Municipal Administration. I would like to thank the Governor of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca and Councilor Luca Cascone for the usual attention that, through concrete actions of planning and investment, they reserve for our City and the entire district.
Thanks to the funding obtained, it will be possible to carry out the works to adapt the systems of the Luna Rossa garage and, consequently, bring the capacity of parking spaces inside it back to full capacity”.
