Rigged tenders in Salerno, house arrest revoked for former councilor Savastano. Obligation to remain at home ordered for him and Vittorio Zoccola.
Nino Savastano, former councilor of the Municipality of Salerno and regional councilor (suspended), who was placed under house arrest last October as part of the investigation into alleged rigged tenders at the Municipality of Salerno, is back on the loose.
The Court accepted the request presented by the lawyer Giovanni Annunziata, granting Savastano the obligation to reside in Salerno. The same decision was taken for Vittorio Zoccola (defended by the lawyer Giuseppe Della Monica), the entrepreneur considered by the Prosecutor's Office to be the "boss" of the social cooperatives.
