Two people have been reached by a precautionary order issued by the investigating judge of the court of Avellino at the request of the local prosecutor's office for continued usury and extortion.
Based on the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Investigative Nucleus of the Provincial Command of Avellino, the two, a 64-year-old and a 29-year-old from Montoro, with the complicity and support of two other people, who were reported at large, had for at least two years put two merchants from Manocalzati and Atripalda under usury who, to put an end to what had become a daily nightmare, had decided to turn to the Carabinieri. The two main suspects were placed under house arrest.
