Aversa, hole gang attempts robbery in a jewelry store on Via Roma. Tunnels dug in the sewer system.

A robbery was foiled yesterday in the central Via Roma in Aversa. The owner of the goldsmith Gabriele Marotta raised the alarm when he heard strange noises coming from underground.

Both the Carabinieri of the local territorial unit and the firefighters of the nearby detachment arrived on site and proceeded with the necessary checks. The police verified thanks to the red helmets that had been dug in the tunnels in the sewer system to access the secondary entrance of the jewelry store.
