AversaThe CASERTA Flying Squad has executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples North at the request of the Aversa Public Prosecutor's Office, against two men believed to be the perpetrators of a robbery to the detriment of the Snai betting shop in Aversa which took place on May 5, 2022.

On that occasion, a man, with his face covered by a neck warmer, had burst into the betting shop and pointed a gun at a customer present in the room, entered the cashier's room and, also pointing the gun at the clerk, had him hand over 11.400 euros, the proceeds of the previous day's takings, before running away.

The investigations of the Flying Squad allowed to ascertain that the robber had arrived in the area on board a car parked in a nearby street. However, the same car had also passed through the area in moments prior to the robbery, in order to carry out preliminary inspections, and in that circumstance the robber was accompanied by another person.

It was thus ascertained that the second person was the patron of the place, at whom the robber had pointed the gun, thus revealing himself to be an accomplice. The Prosecutor's Office of Naples North issued a search and seizure order against the suspects, executed by the Caserta Flying Squad, which allowed to gather further evidence against the two suspects.
