For two years, a 33-year-old man allegedly insulted, threatened and beat his 30-year-old partner. The latest incident dates back to two days ago, when the 33-year-old attacked the woman with a fishing rod, hitting her multiple times in the legs and back.
The woman, whose partner had forbidden her to use her cell phone, managed to escape and went to the Carabinieri of the Benevento provincial command, reporting the constant harassment and aggression. Deputy Prosecutor Maria Gabriella di Lauro issued an arrest warrant for the man: he was arrested for personal injury, mistreatment in the family and threats.
