The Mobile Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters has in fact executed two orders of precautionary custody in prison, issued by the GIP of Court of Naples, at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 29 people, considered to be seriously suspected of mafia-type association, attempted murder, extortion, possession and carrying of firearms, association for the purpose of trafficking and distribution of narcotics, all aggravated by the mafia method.
The measures summarize the results of the investigations launched following the injuries of Antonio Carillo e Lorenzo Rossetti, which occurred on 5 and 6 December 2020, a moment from which a conflict began to arise between subjects stably associated with each other.
The criminal actions arose from a heated conflict between two opposing criminal groups vying for dominance over the illicit businesses of Pianura.
Following massive investigations, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, very serious evidence of guilt has been acquired against the defendants - on various counts - relating to the management of organised drug trafficking, extortion at drug dealing locations, the commission of bloody crimes, attacks on business activities, the possession of firearms, including war weapons, and the possession of significant quantities of narcotic substances.
The evidentiary framework provided by the investigations has allowed us to record the birth and rise of the new criminal group which among the most authoritative figures includes Antonio Calone, Charles Esposito e Emanuel Marsicano, contrasted with another criminal gang in which the personality of Antonio Carillo stands out.
Among the crimes contested, there is also a "stesa" committed against thecar wash
“Pit Stop” of via Padula and the attempted murder of Francesco Sofa.
The proceeds of the illicit activities were then set aside for the subsequent
possible reinvestment in thepurchase of valuable watches.
